Tom Ellis

Technological Crime Analyst, RCMP

Thomas Ellis is Civilian Member with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and is currently assigned to the Vancouver Technological Crime Unit where he is responsible for liaising with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) partner agencies. His particular areas of interest and concern are Robotic Networks, Industrial Control Systems, and Wireless Network Insecurity.

Thomas is a certified IT professional and has lectured for various institutions during the course of his career, including the Canadian Police College, the Canadian School of Public Service, and Simon Fraser University.

He is an active member with the Society for the Policing Cyber-Space(POLCYB) and the High Tech Crime Investigators Association (HTCIA).
