Lisa Sabin-Wilson is a creative designer and the owner of E.Webscapes Design Studio and the author of both WordPress For Dummies and BuddyPress For Dummies (Wiley Pub.). For 10 years, Lisa has been consulting with , helping to support and providing custom solutions for web site owners using different content management platforms such as WordPress, Movable Type, Expression Engine and TypePad, to name a few, as well as a variety of different social media platforms, in particular BuddyPress, which gives individuals and small businesses the ability to host a niche, social community on their own web site.

Lisa is a 'sometimes' public speaker at national conferences, on the topic of blogging, WordPress and social media. When Lisa is not designing great websites, speaking publicly, or writing books about WordPress, design, blogging and social media – you can usually find her scuba diving 100ft below the water or downhill skiing up high atop a mountain.. or just relaxing with her family, enjoying a good cup of espresso and a good book or movie.
