Mr. Stafford is responsible for building the partnerships and strategic alliances which drive the VideoClix solution for monetizing video on the web. An expert on the intersection of brands and entertainment properties, Stafford works directly with
content providers, advertisers and distributors to develop innovative clickable video programs. In 2009 Mr. Stafford negotiated and signed VideoClix as the official clickable video vendors for MTV Networks, ESPN and Dailymotion.

Mr. Stafford has also created national and global joint-marketing campaigns and intellectual property agreements with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Wal*Mart, Electronic Arts, New Line Cinema, Disney, NASCAR, Super Bowl, Hasbro, GRAMMYS and Lucas Films to name a few.

Mr. Stafford holds a Masters Degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University.

An Emmy nominee and successful entrepreneur for almost two decades, Tippett is recognized an as international expert on emerging news models. In 2005, Tippett co-founded NowPublic. The company has been named one of the top five most useful new sites on the web by The Guardian and Time magazine named it one of the Top 50 Websites for 2007.

In 1995, Tippett founded the WebPool Syndicate, one of Canada’s first Internet companies. After the success of the WebPool venture, Tippett travelled to the United States and worked for some of the largest web companies in North America, including TheGlobe.com, Afternic and Register.com.

Outside of his role at NowPublic, Tippett is a member of the University of British Columbia’s School of Journalism Advisory Board, Capilano University, Bachelor of Professional Communication Advisory Committee and is also a board member of CABINET, a Vancouver-based arts organization. He is also an advisor to The Wireless Innovation Network British Columbia (WINBC).

He has also contributed to digital culture in fields such as media arts. In 2004 he collaborated with Kate Armstrong to produce Grafik Dynamo, a net art piece that loads live images from blogs and news sources on the web into a live action comic strip. Grafik Dynamo was a commission of Turbulence, made possible with funding from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

Tippett graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Philosophy.

Lindsay Smith is the CEO and founder of Massive Media Inc., the producer of the F5 EXPO. In addition to running Massive Media, Lindsay writes for her own blog: TechLinz and is a resident Tech Talk expert on Global TV and Studio 4 (Shaw Television). In 2007, Smith was invited to co-host GetConnected’s national TV show aired on the Business News Network and CityTV. Smith has been a dynamic personality in seasons 2 through 4. Smith also hosted GetConnected’s radio show aired weekly on the corus radio network across Canada. Prior to starting Massive in 2005, Smith was the CEO and co-founder of Techvibes.com, a portal that markets high-tech companies to the masses. Drawing on extensive experience in communications and information technology, Smith used forward innovative methods for helping companies grow their business by using both new and established technologies. In 2004, Smith joined the National board of directors for Wired Woman, a Canadian association for women in technology. There she volunteered her time as CTO until she was elected to President of the association in 2005 and remained with the society until 2008. Smith’s experience has been rooted in the high-tech sector for over 9 years. Her career in technology began in 2000 when she co-founded GeekRave Productions in order to build more networking opportunities in the height of the tech boom. Originally Director of Public Relations and quickly promoted to President for the company, Smith and her team successfully attracted thousands of people to their high-tech industry events. Considered an expert in her field, Smith has been quoted countless times by local and national media. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Communication from Simon Fraser University and resides in Vancouver, BC.
